As a Brand Strategist, you play a vital role developing comprehensive brand and user experience strategies that align with user-centered design principles and enhance digital product applications and web experiences. Leveraging your expertise in market research, consumer trends, and brand positioning, you also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that thoughtfully crafted strategies come to life in digital user experiences. Your ability to analyze data, identify insights, and craft compelling brand messaging contribute to our clients' success in delivering impactful digital solutions. At 500 Designs, you will also be leveraging AI tools to enhance brand ideation, streamlining workflows and enhancing team productivity.

 

What You Do:

Research and Analysis:
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to deeply understand their pain points and vision 
  • Conduct primary and secondary research (such as user interviews, persona analysis, customer journey mapping) to gain deep insights into consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Stay updated on consumer research, industry trends, and emerging market shifts to inform brand strategies.
  • Analyze research findings, data, and trends to uncover insights, challenges, and opportunities that shape holistic and effective brand strategies.
Brand Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with the strategy team to develop brand messaging, positioning, and strategy that align with user-centered design principles, target audiences, and market analysis, 
  • Present and articulate strategic thinking and engage with clients to get buy-in and understand feedback.
  • Collaborate with Design Directors to ensure seamless integration of brand strategies into visual identities, sitemap and user flows.
  • Collaborate with Copywriters to translate brand strategy into voice and tone 
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, address concerns, and make informed decisions.
  • Maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders updated on project progress and strategy development.
Brand Content Strategy and Messaging:
  • Transform brand strategies into messaging pillars that resonate with the priority audiences.
  • Provide data-driven content strategies that increase user engagement and elevate digital experiences.
  • Collaborate and guide the Copy team to develop copy that resonate with the client's brand.
  • Adapt communication styles and channels to effectively reach and engage different stakeholders.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Brand Strategist, Marketing Strategist, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize research findings and data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with confidence presenting strategic recommendations to large groups and senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities that drive effective brand strategies.
