As the Lead Copywriter at Design Force, you will be the primary creator of compelling, on-brand copy for a diverse range of clients who already have established writing styles and provide clear project briefs. You will work independently as an individual contributor, delivering top-tier copy for digital products and communications, while also championing the adoption of AI-driven tools and best practices to enhance your own workflow and creative output. You will collaborate closely with designers to deliver cohesive, high-impact work.

What You’ll Do

Copywriting & Content Creation (80%)
  • Develop and refine copy that fits established brand personalities, tones, and voices as defined by client briefs.
  • Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for websites, apps, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, brand guidelines, and project objectives.
  • Conduct targeted research on client industries or specific topics as needed for each brief.
  • Collaborate with designers to create seamless brand experiences through effective pairing of copy and visuals.
 
Workflow Optimization & AI Adoption (20%)
  • Identify and adopt AI-driven tools and processes to streamline content creation, increase efficiency, and enhance quality.
  • Stay current with trends in copywriting and AI to continuously improve the quality and speed of your deliverables.
  • Share findings and best practices with the broader team as appropriate.

What You Should Have

  • 5+ years of professional experience in copywriting, content strategy, or a similar role, ideally within an agency or fast-paced environment.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your versatility in writing for various brands, voices, and formats.
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to different brand styles and deliver high-quality work based on well-defined briefs.
  • Strong research and synthesis skills, ensuring copy is both accurate and engaging.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for copywriting (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Grammarly, etc.) and a willingness to champion their use.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to handle multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and keyword integration for digital content.
